In the past years, sightings of mysterious suicides have occured and the people of Hong Kong suspect they were caused by none other than Pro-China, Hong Kong police. In multiple occurences, protesters have ended up missing and are suspected of being held captive in mainland China.
My name is Ava and I was inspired to create this website because my family is from Hong Kong and I don't believe that enough people understand the severity of the situation there. I was in Hong Kong when the protests of 2019 started and the teargas was so bad that I couldn't leave my apartment. People believe that the stuation has died down but in fact, the brutality forced upon Hong Kongers by the police is still eminent in their daily lives. My goal with this website is to spread awarness of the tragedy happening in my family's country.
